Your privacy matters to us. Most SmartConvert tools process files entirely in your browser. For tools that require server-side processing, such as PDF to Word conversion, your file is securely sent to our conversion service. To help us diagnose conversion problems, the original PDF and the converted document are kept in encrypted storage for up to 90 days and then deleted automatically; they are never used for any other purpose.

We do not sell your personal information. We may collect limited, anonymous usage data solely to improve our services. Where third-party advertising is displayed, it is served by our advertising partners according to their own privacy policies.
